Peaks & Pits

Stormy hasn't posted her link up today - but I am doing a round of Peaks and Pits anyway!!

PEAK – It’s Friday  - holla!

PIT – I had some major fails at work this week.  I am completely off my game and have sucked at a few things.  Trying to stay focused today to end the week on a better note.

PEAK – Managed to get in three work outs already this week.

PIT – The laundry has suffered. Hubby actually had to ask me if the washer would be available. Apparently he needed clean socks and underwear.  OOPS!  Guess I better get on the laundry train.

PIT – Hubby is gone for two days.  While I do enjoy sleeping right smack dab in the middle of the bed I do miss the hubby while he is away.  This will be the first time sleeping in the new house without him – so hopefully I don’t get to scared.  LOL!

PEAK – I know that I am biased and all but I just have to share this picture of Sissy – I mean come on! Yes I know that is dirt on her face (she was playing in her Mema’s flower pot)

PEAK - Brother and Sister Love.  This doesn't happen all to often as Sissy gets mad when her brother is too much in her face.

Peaks & Pits

Linking up with Stormy today for this weeks editions of Peaks and Pits.

Peak - I mean how cute is she?!?!  I love this picture because it looks like she is missing all kinds of teeth but she really does have 4 - two on the top and two on the bottom

Peak & Pit - my dad took Kid Clammy for a hair cut this week - Pit because it is a little shorter than I like, and I normally do them since I am a part time hair dresser and all.  Peak - that because I have been so busy my dad was nice enough to take him for me and also because no matter what he is still handsome and it is only hair - it will grow back.

Pit:  That red moon must have put all the crazies out there because we had more crazy customers at work this week and I am OVER them!

Peak: Started to hand some pictures on the wall.  I have big plans for some gallery type wall but who knows if that will ever happen.  But for not these are a start!

Peak:  Easter weekend is here!

I never thought I would

I never thought I would

* be at my job for almost 10 years.  I am all for job longevity but didn't think it would be this job – thought I would be teaching by now and for awhile.

* struggle with my weight and money, but I do and I hate it.

*be a mom of two and a wife.  I always knew that I wanted to be married and have kids but I couldn't imagine it in my mind, now I wouldn't know what to do without them.

*not have a relationship with one of my sisters.  It’s sad and the reasons are silly but they are what they are and for now it’s for the better.

*not want to go to my high school reunion but after going to my 10 year I have decided I would never go back.  It was awful!

* go to my hubby’s high school reunion.  When we were dating I heard about how he only went to school because he had too, he never went to dances or anything – not even prom so when he said he wanted to go I was shocked

*have so many different hobbies.

*have more than one college degree.

I am sure this list could go on and on, but for not this is all!!

Happy Hump Day!!

Peaks & Pits

Linking up with Stormy for a round of Pits & Peaks!

PEAK – It’s Friday!! Yeah for the weekend.  Especially since I thought Wednesday was Thursday and Thursday was Friday.  Turns out I was wrong and I don’t get to change the days because I want too.

PIT – The fact that I have been off on my days and my mind is playing tricks on me – BLAH!

PIT – Attending a celebration of life tomorrow for a young woman who was taken too early from this earth.  God apparently has a bigger plan for her apparently, but leaving behind a loving hubby and three adorable young kiddos makes you wonder what the plan is.

PEAK - #1800minutechallenge – going strong – 250 down 1550 to go!

PEAK – Hoping to finally hang some pictures up in the house this weekend!

PIT – My dear sister is going through a hard time right now and I hate that we live so far apart.  I want her to know I am always here for her but wish I could literally be there for her.   Sister – you know who you are and I love you and I am saying prayers for you!!

PEAK - My herb garden is starting to grow!

PEAK – It’ Friday!! Have a great weekend!!

This was a "Daddy Doo" Spring Flip!

Citrus Lane

We are well into the third box from our subscription to Citrus Lane.  With the move and all we got behind on opening boxes so we had two to open at once.  They were filled with some really great stuff.

We have used the bowl and plate numerous times, we love books around here so these will come in very handy.  I use the soap to wash the bottles with all the time - it seems to work great.  The bugs and net went straight into the tub and are played with at each and every bath!  The little toys have been pushed or scooted around the house by Sissy and Kid Clammy.

All in all we are very happy with our Citrus Lane boxes!

Spring Swap

Good Morning Ladies!  This was my first year participating in the Spring Swap hosted by Stormy and Katie.  I have to say I was a little nervous - I really wanted to get it right for my partner Erin. We emailed back and forth about our likes and what not and off to shopping I went.  I was really happy with what I picked out for her and was hoping she would like it as much as I did.  I then waiting anxiously to see what was coming my way!

I was so excited when this arrived!!

The excitement of opening  was so much fun!

I couldn't rip into this bag fast enough to see what was inside.

Oodles of goodness!

Adorable little plate (perfect to hold jewelry) and some sweets!

Gorgeous Scarf (such Spring colors - love!)

Love this Spring Necklace!  Bold and Bright - doesn't get much better than that!

This little guy already has a home for Springtime in our house!

This note pad - adorable - and this chap-stick holder - genius!!

Erin - Thank you so much for being a wonderful partner!!  I hope you enjoyed your package as much as I enjoyed mine!!

April Goal's

For April Goal's here we go...

Continue to try and save more $$ and get on a better budget.  This means less spending! But in my defense trying to replenish a food supply in a completely empty house is not cheap!

Continue getting more settled at home.  More unpacking, organizing, and getting settled.

Continue to get on track with a healthier lifestyle - eating, better, working out, drinking shake-o

Continue to build my business as a coach

Blog as much as possible!

Continue taking care of me - be proud of myself instead of over down and hard on myself.

Start the #1800minutechallenge - I don't know about you but I signed up to join Erin from Living in Yellow and some other fabulous ladies for the great challenge.  We are supposed to work out for 1800 minutes from April 1st till May 30th.  This works out to be about 30 minutes a day.  Sounds like a good time to get together and link up with a bunch of people looking to get healthier!!

Weekend Recap & March Goals - Updated

Weekend Recap

As always the weekends go too fast!  On Saturday hubby and Kid Clammy played with a Bobcat tractor in the back yard while Sissy and I helped my parents move my mom's antique furniture back into her house.  Well I helped - Sissy just watched and looked cute!

Trying out a big girl car seat!

Sunday the in-laws watched the kiddos for me (hubby was away for the day for work) and I tried to get stuff done around the house.  While I didn't get as much done as I would've liked I am still happy with the progress.

March Goals - Updated

Find success in the Shakeology and Beach Body
Continue the challenge group and start working on growing my business!
While it is not as fast moving as I thought I am proud of myself for the changes that I have made personally with my own lifestyle.  In terms of growing the business this too has been a slow process but I know it will pay off in the long run.

Move into the house
(Take 2)
All our stuff is moved in but unpacked and completely settled not quite.

Continue the 52 week money challenge
I have sucked at this completely - I am not giving up on saving money - I think I am just going to change my plan.
