Tim McGraw

So last weekend the girls and I hit up the Tim McGraw concert!! I have seen him many, many times - and it just never gets old!  We had dinner before, drinks in the parking lots and once Tim was on stage our behinds never sat down.  We danced, sang, laughed, ooohhhed, awweeedd and smiled ear to ear!!

And now for the photos.  This is only some of them but you will get the idea!!

It was such a fun and much needed girls night!!

High Five for Friday

Linking up for some High Five on Friday Fun!!

1.  It's the weekend!! Yeah!!

2. New Doors - yeah for new doors!! We got a new front door and new back door installed in the last week!  We are almost finished with inside projects!! Yeah.  Not to mention we have the last two new windows coming in soon!  I should have taken a picture of our old doors but they were old and ugly so I will spare you!!

3. Swim Lessons - I love that my kids love the water so much and this guy is practically a professional swimmer!!

4.  On that note- gymnastics!  Kid Clammy loves it and the teachers are always cracking up at him because he has no fear and is CRAZY!!  (sorry for the blurry pic - but my Iphone doesn't have "sports" mode)

5. This game drive.  It is for such an awesome cause and we have been following Parker's journey since the beginning.  He is such a tough kids and has the strongest family, friends and community supporting him.  We are hosting a drop off location at the Hub's shop and are so proud to be able to be a part of the fundraiser.

Monster Trucks

Monster Jam / Monster Trucks in our house is a big deal.  My hubby loves Monster Trucks!  I think he knows just about everything there is to know about Monster Trucks.  He can tell you truck names, drivers, owners, chassis style - on and on and on.  He is very passionate about them and Kid Clammy is not far behind!!  This means that typically when they come to town we are buying tickets and attending.  This year however we decided to attend the "World Finals" in Las Vegas. We did this once before when about 3 years ago and had a great time.  This year we went to Vegas with some friends, and the hubby's parents.  We were lucky enough to stay in a friend's house, and visit some other friends and some cool places while we were there.  This year they made the event two nights - racing on Friday and freestyle on Saturday.  We had a great time and I think this will be an annual thing for us!  Now for the good stuff - the pictures!

Sissy's 1st time cruising the "Strip"

Really?  And all this time I thought there were bumps!

Lucas meeting the driver from Avenger.

I will admit - even though I don't particularly like to watch Monster Trucks on TV (they are preset to record on the DVR), I don't mind watching them in person.  They are definitely entertaining and the people watching is pretty great too!  We had a great time!

Red Balloons

My heart is sad today.  I read a story on a few other blogs about a little boy who was taken home too early.  A parent should never have to bury a child especially one so young.  My heart and prayers goes out to Ryan's family!

You can donate here if you like.

April & May Goals

Checking in with April's Goals...

Continue to try and save more $$ and get on a better budget.  This means less spending! But in my defense trying to replenish a food supply in a completely empty house is not cheap! So this is an ok one for me.  I spent way too much money on pictures of my kids this month - but in my defense they are some pretty cute kids.  However I was able to stash some $$ in savings so that's a plus!

Continue getting more settled at home.  More unpacking, organizing, and getting settled.  We are making progress.  We got the last 20' container emptied and I made a small dent in the boxes and even got some pictures hung on the walls.

Continue to get on track with a healthier lifestyle - eating, better, working out, drinking shake-o  I am making progress on this one too.  While I am far from perfect, I have lost some weight and inches.  I still have a wayyyysss to go but I know that I can do this!  I have been working out at least 3 days a week and drinking my shake-o everyday so that part is a total win!

Continue to build my business as a coach  This is another ok for me.  I am becoming more confident with myself and talking to people but I still have a ways to go.  I have made contacts and finished my coaching courses so I am on my way!

Blog as much as possible! - Fail!!  I didn't blog as much as I wanted too - but I am going to keep trying!  I did do my very first guest post last month with was nerve racking and fun all at the same time!  Thanks to Morgan for having me!

Continue taking care of me - be proud of myself instead of over down and hard on myself. This will always be a work in progress but I can say that I am proud of myself for working out 3 days a week, I am proud of the mom that I am - just to name one or two!

Start the #1800minutechallenge - I don't know about you but I signed up to join Erin from Living in Yellow and some other fabulous ladies for the great challenge.  We are supposed to work out for 1800 minutes from April 1st till May 30th.  This works out to be about 30 minutes a day.  Sounds like a good time to get together and link up with a bunch of people looking to get healthier!! - This has been so much fun -seeing every one's #'s and such on Twitter and Instagram.  While I am not convinced that I will make all 1800 minutes it is still helping me to be more active than I have been in a very, very, very, long time!!  I am 538 minutes in, but its better than nothing!

May Goals -

Here we go for May!

Celebrate my Hubby - This is his birthday month and so we are celebrating twice!

Mother's Day - Celebrate the wonderful Mother's in our lives with our annual camping brunch.

#1800minutechallenge - do my very best to complete - or at least get over half way!!  At this rate I probably won't make it to all 1800 minutes - but this challenge has definitely gotten me off the couch more than normal so there is an upside!

Pray - Religion is not something that I talk about personally very often.  I have my beliefs as so many others, but I find them very personal.  I have been wanting to explore religion and a relationship with God a little more lately so this is something that I working on.  Baby steps for sure - so for now I am working on my prayers!

Repeat - Some of the above goals - ie - taking care of me (finally got a pedi), building a business etc.

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff - I try not to let things bother me to much - but I do need to remind myself that there are a lot of things out of my control and I just "let it go" life would be a tiny bit less stressful!

More Unpacking - Yes I know how bad this sounds - but I still have unpacking to do.  I try to do a couple boxes a week - so hopefully I can keep up with that!!

I know I am not the only one who is thinking - where the heck did the month of May come from!  It's crazy how fast the time is flying!!  Here's to a great month!!

Mother's Day Wish List

Being a mom is my greatest ever!  I love it more than words.  I thought I knew love when I met and married the hubs but then I had kids and wow!!  However it doesn't hurt to want a few other things right?  So here I am trying to drop some hints to my hubby about some great Mother's Day gift ideas for me.  It's not often that I ask for things - but here are some things that I am lusting over.

This sign - I love this song - my mom would sing it to me and now she sings it to my kids and so do I!

Mother's Day Keychain
Keychain

Family Monogram Necklace
Leaf Necklace

Converse - Chuck Taylor® All Star® Core Ox

I would definitely not send any of these back.

Happy Friday

Happy Friday my Friends!!

Linking up with the High Five On Friday Ladies!

1) Happy Happy Birthday to my amazing Hubby!!!

2) It's Friday and I am off work!!  Took the day off because it's the Hubby's birthday today and I thought we would be out of town.  We are not but I still took the day off - this momma needs to get some stuff done!

3) Birthday Celebrations of all sorts this weekend - Hubby's tonight and Sunday night.  Two kiddo birthday parties - its jam packed weekend filled with fun!

4) Pedicure - if all else fails I am getting a pedicure today.  I haven't had one in months and my toes are horrible!! It is much needed for this girl!!

5) Just to embarrass myself - I worked out last night - and yes I am wearing Halloween socks (in May) and yes they are two different Halloween socks. So what's more embarrassing - the fact that the socks are mismatched or that I have two different pairs of socks for a one day holiday?  Hmm...not sure!

Happy Friday!

Honey Roast

I am not going to lie - something "Honey Roasted" sounds delicious!  But sorry we are not here to talk about food today.  Today I am linking up with Juliette and some other ladies to Roast ourselves.  However this isn't your everyday roast - this is more of a let's be nice to ourselves kind of roast.  We all know all to well that we can put our own selves down so easily, for me it's hard to take compliments, I am way too hard on myself, and all to often I talk about how dumb I can be, what a flake I am, and so on and so forth.  So today let's be nice to ourselves today and say what we can do right / what we are good at.

**I love kids and tend to think that I am pretty good with them.  I really am a good mom!

**I am a hard worker

**I love helping others

**I can be a smart arse sometimes (ok a lot of the times) but that's just me!  But for me it's fun - so I am praising myself for it!

**I am a good listener

**I am learning and working on being a better me.  I am a work in progress but the fact that I am
working on me is a great thing!

That's all for today - hope you will link up too!
