Weekend

Hello Monday - You are my Favorite Day (said me - NEVER!!).

The weekend as per usual flew by!  We had a good productive weekend for the most part!

Friday Night - We stayed in because the hubby was working on the house.  He and a few others busted some tail and got the kitchen cabinets installed.  I heart them!!

Saturday - the hubby left to go out of town until Sunday afternoon and Kid Clammy was off to Tia's House for the day to visit.  Sissy was supposed to go but she woke up with a fever from her cold she has been fighting off and on since Christmas so she stayed home with me.  We packed up some boxes, cleaned some things up, made some tie blankets for a baby and Kid Clammy's bed.
I had to share this picture because apparently I have been eating oatmeal all wrong.  It's better to drink it!

Sunday - We hung around the house in the morning, Kid Clammy and I went to a friend's house so he could play and I could babysit for a little bit, then I had to take Sissy to the doctors - ear infection along with her cold.  She is such a good sport and really you wouldn't know anything is wrong with her.  Luckily her fever was gone by mid morning!  Also I have to brag - my mom made the birthday invites for her party - how cute are these?  I mean my mother is so gosh darn creative and talented!

We also got the first part of our wood floors installed.

High Five on Friday

Hello Friends!! Happy Friday! Hope you have a good week!! I am linking of with the ladies for another edition of High Five on Friday.

1) This week was my first week of the Shakeology / Beach body Challenge. While I have a ways to ago and will have bumps in the road along the way I know that I am going to make progress. The fact that I worked out four days this week already is something for me to be proud of!

2) Tile floor has began being installed in the house - the progress continues.

3) Our new windows - I just love them!!

4) The kids - I just love them!!
Kid Clammy helping me paint things for the new house.

This is Sissy's face when she starts to cry because she is getting in trouble.  I told her she couldn't stand up in her bath tub - I am such a mean mom.

5) It's Friday - Happy Dance - Happy Dance - Happy Dance!
Have a great weekend!!

Christmas

So much like my New Year's post - super late I know but I just can't resist sharing.  We had such a wonderful Christmas, spending time as a family with family!  The weekend before Christmas Kid Clammy and I made a Gingerbread house.  I think he ate more candy than we put on but we had fun.  We also caught him with a toy screwdriver a few days later trying to pry the candy off to eat.  #sweettooth

Our finished Gingerbread house!

Leaving Milk, Cookies and Carrots for Santa and the Reindeer

Christmas morning we woke up at my parents house and Santa had arrived.

Lucas showing off some of his desert gear.

Sissy preferred bows to opening gifts.

Hubby likes his Jack!

We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable day with family.  Judging by all the other Christmas recaps I have enjoyed reading we are not the only ones who had a great Christmas!!

New Years

So I know this is beyond late - but that's the story of my life right now.  Here is our New Year's recap.  And yes I know I am backwards and should be doing Christmas first but I am still waiting on a few pictures.

We are desert people - heck it's what my hubby does for a living so it only fitting that we go to the desert for New Years.  This has been tradition for years now.  It's the one time during desert season that we usually get to spend at least 4-5 days there instead of just a quick weekend.  Over the years the people we camp with has changed, the things we do have changed (a lot) but the one thing that remains the same is we have fun.  It doesn't hurt that the sunsets are beautiful too!

Back in the day it was jello shots, shooting fire works at each other and things that I can't tell you about because I wouldn't want my kids to know.  Now it has become running up and down sand hills because its fun for the kids.

Celebrating Arizona New Year so you can go to bed an hour early.  This New Year's Trip we met up with some friends who were already there, the group rotated around.  Some went home before New Year's some came right before.  We stayed until New Year's day and had a great time.

Olivia had her first buggy ride.

Lucas had a blast riding his quad. For only being 3 I can't believe how much he rode and rode and rode!  He wore his new helmet and chest protector that Santa brought him. He rode around camp and the burm track some is the adults made.

And this is what happens when your hubby decides to have cookies and milk for breakfast!

We had a great trip, no big problems to speak of!!

Happy 100 & Goals for February

This post marks my 100th published post!! I am actually kind of surprised I have posted that many times.  I look forward to having so many more but am excited that I made it to this milestone.

So I saw a post the other day that I really liked the idea behind.  Instead of doing goals for the year - why not try goals for the month!
100th

So here are my February goals.

Feb
Meal Plan More
Meaning actually plans meals and stop winging it!

Continue the 52 week money challenge
Hoping this will help me continue to learn to be a better saver!

Move into the house
I am not setting an actual date and I am sure that we won't be unpacked or fully settled but hopefully by the end of the month we will at least be living in the house!

Find success in the Shakeology and Beach Body
Though I know it won't be easy I really want to do this for myself.  I want to get healthier and I am going to do my best to have the most successful first month I can!

Celebrate Sissy's 1st Birthday
Man o Man I can't believe my baby is going to be one.  While we are having her party after her actual birthday I want to make sure we celebrate her right!

A little weekend recap for you!

Date Night with the hubby - with drink drowning our sorrows because we weren't at the Miranda Lampert / George Strait Concert
