July 4th
So I am sure that some of you have big plans for the 4th...and I would have to say that I am a little bit jealous. And I really do mean a little bit. In our world today we are laying low. The Hubs is actually working for a few hours, Kid Clammy is going to play with Tia and I am going to enjoy a little bit of alone time before we settle in for some afternoon fun of who knows what and fireworks. I would like to send a thank you to all Military past and present for all the sacrifices that you make for us and our country. Thank you!! I hope you all enjoy your holiday!! I am looking forward to not having to go back to work until Monday!! Yeah me!!!

Quality vs. Quantity
The
older that I get (and I am really not THAT old I just wish I could stay 30
forever), I realize more and more that quality wins almost always hands down over
quantity. I am sure that I am not the
only one who realizes this. But let me
explain this in my life terms. Mainly
this is in regards to people in my life.
The more time goes by the more I realize that its okay if I don’t have a
bazillion and one friends, but if I have a select few and I mean count them on
one hand so to speak that I know 100% without a doubt I can count that is what matters. The quality of these friendships is so
wonderful that they simply last a lifetime.
Heck some of them began ein lementary school and some in adult
hood but when they start doesn't matter. What matters is they started. No matter what life brings, where
we live, who we marry, how many kids we have or how long it has been since we
talked (a week, a day or two months) it doesn't matter. I know that I can call any one of these
friends, talk about anything, they will listen, give advice wanted or not, cry
with me, laugh with me and not judge me.
They love me for me and that’s that.
These are way more important that the millionth and two friend who was
just super sweet to your face and then turned around and blabbed all your business
and then some to whoever walks by. These
quality friendships are the ones I want to nurture and grow and I look forward
to seeing the journey that life takes us on. Love you friends!!
